The first part of my career was spent as a Federal employee providing evidence-based nutrition information for public programs and policies; however, I have always had an interest in holistic and alternative health for my personal wellness. After leaving public service, I wanted to find a way to integrate both of these worlds. Functional Nutrition has allowed me to combine my education and experience in nutrition, while learning a new skill set that enhances individual health and wellness.
WORK WITH ME
Functional Nutrition utilizes a science-based approach to address the underlying causes of symptoms and promote optimal wellness. Diagnostic tools, including lab tests, are used to gain an understanding of genetic, biochemical and lifestyle factors. As a Functional Nutrition practitioner, I assess health symptoms and patterns to identify and address the root cause of health issues. The results are used to create an individualized treatment plan that incorporates diet, supplement and lifestyle recommendations.
